A full home makeover like this just never gets old. What a stunning difference paint makes!
The homeowners of this beautiful home in Geist knew they wanted to update their home. They knew they needed a professional painting contractor, and wanted a local Geist painter. So they reached out to us in August of 2020 to talk about some options after hearing about Guy Painting from other members of their HOA, who had used our services before and were very happy with their painting jobs. Knowing that Guy Painting is a specialized residential repaint company with carpenters that could do wood rot repair before painting, they contacted us on our website to schedule their free quote. They mentioned they had wood siding that they new was going to need to be repaired “or a little help” before painting. Luckily, our carpenters and painters have this all covered!
Ron went to their house to meet with the couple and talk about the project. He learned more about what the family was hoping for from their new home. They wanted a fresh and modern look to their home, and we were happy to help! The brick exterior was in good shape, but the color was not what the family wanted. Painting brick is a great way to achieve a full transformation on your home, all of the painters at Guy Painting have years of experience and the knowledge to help with this job. We helped the homeowner find a color scheme that worked for them.
The homeowners decided on a modern farmhouse look using Sherwin Williams colors SW 7005 Pure White for the body of the house, including the brick and siding, and SW 6258 Tricorn Black for the trim. The contrast of black windows and doors on a white house is a beautiful and modern look that we see a lot of homeowners interested in.
We started work on this house in July of 2021. Our carpenters came out first to repair some wood siding and trim that needed to be replaced, and did a thorough inspection of the house and were able to identify additional repair that needed to be done. Our professional carpenters are talented and thorough and were able to get that taken care of on the spot. We know that no added expense is fun but now the homeowners has the confidence that their home is set now and they don’t need to worry about the condition of the exterior wood and the quality painting job will last!
Painting started shortly after that and the difference was immediate. This transformation has completely changed the feel of the house and the homeowner is thrilled: “Everything went well, looks amazing!”
